Hope everyone had a great week-end. After working hard at the condo all week we kicked back and took it easy. We stopped by the state park as they were having special activities to kick off April. They had lots of games and activities for the kiddo but this is the place I choose. Do you think I'm still wiped out from the classroom or what?  Naw!   If the grands had been with me I would have been right in the middle of everything.

After all of the rain that beautiful blue sky was so welcome!

I did a little thrifting. Those of you that read my blog regularly know that is my favorite thing to do...
well, next to eating. I found several goodies that I will share later but this is my most needed find.

I know it just looks like a book but it is going to get my life organized. It is a journal that I am going to use for all of my Sunday Reflections. Right now they are here, there and everywhere!
I'm glad you dropped by and y'all come back.

Linking to Blue Monday   and Outdoor Wednesday

  1. I love your blues and the words on the journal are perfect for your Sunday Reflections.

  2. Eating and thrifting? Why, we are kindred spirits! Your journal is lovely. Let me know if it really helps get your life organized. If it does, I'm going journal hunting!

  3. Oops! You never linked in! Please come back.

    Thanks for sharing your blues.

    Happy Blue Monday.

  4. Love that blue sky. Looks like a great place to recharge. Love the journal! I work better in organized chaos. LOL I can't seem to stay organized for long. I try and try.
    Have a great week!

  5. Maybe I should have bought two journals. I forgot to link AND forgot to title my post! One thing at a time Annette, one thing at a time!!!

  6. Lovely photos!

Please come take a look at my entry, thank you!

  7. Sounds like a perfect weekend to me.

  8. what a great place to unwind...:)

  9. Your journal is a great idea...there were so many sticky notes and odd slips of paper floating around & needing some sort of centralized spot. I think my friends know me better than myself as I have ended up with 3 wonderful, handmade journals! One for quilting, one for gardening and one for blogging thoughts...keeping a journal is turning out to be a positive experience!

  10. Sounds like great fun to me......thrifting and eating or eating and thrifting.....A wonderful day for anyone. Enjoy!!!! Look forward to reading your Sunday Reflections. Blessings!

  11. What a nice looking journal! That should motivate you to get organized....Christine

  12. I think I could just sit there all day and think and ponder-I need some time like that!

  13. Great find on a great looking book!

  14. Using that book may get you organized. I am trying to do the same thing here. Spring is here! I'm nesting. Cleaning out. Shredding paper. Trying to find places to file paper. tee hee

  15. Oh, that's one of my favorite things to do, too!! That's a great journal! Love the picture of the palm trees against the blue sky. We sure don't see that here in New England (the palm trees... we do (occasionally) get blue sky! haha) The Cherry Grove Pier pix a few posts back are spectacular!... Donna

  16. Oh, how that sky makes me long for Sanibel. We just got back, but your picture reminds me of the wonderful time we had.
Have fun with your journal. I'm good at starting them, but always fizz out sooner or later.
Thank you for praying for Susie and her family.
    God Bless You!

  17. Oh boy.....I'm glad I stopped by this morning. You and me both...thrifting and eating, two of MY favorite things to do too.

Love the serenity of your photo share.
