Thrifty Fall Finds

I know I said I was going to decorate with what I already have for fall

well, I lied!

I didn't mean to. That really was my plan.

I visited Goodwill and well you know the rest of the story ... these little dessert plates hopped right in my

 cart when I passed by.

I love the little leaf detail.

This white pitcher followed right behind them.

The six dessert plates were only 2.25 with my senior,  young and fiesty, discount.

The pitcher was the same. I love to use pitchers as floral vases, especially white ones.

I'm going to Try to not buy any more fall things. I think I jinxed myself

but

a relaxed day of bargain hunting and enjoying the season can be such fun!

Hope you all are enjoying this wonderful fall and y'all come on back.

  2. Love that little pitcher. It reminds me that I have one I put away. I found it months ago and forgot all about it! I'll dig it out tomorrow :)

  5. My blog name is A Conversation at Goodwill so you are preaching to the choir about buying at Goodwill. I can never resist a good buy either. Thanks for sharing.

  6. Oh, I love the roasted pumpkiny color of your desert plates. They almost look deep enough to hold some pumpkin soup? Great find for any fall table setting. Thanks for stopping by the high street cottage, your blog is divine. tami

  14. You certainly did get some cute dishes for fall! I would not have passed those up either! What a deal! They are the perfect color aren't they? I actually own your new pitcher too. I have that dish set by Gibson with the fruit motif. I used to use mine for untensils long before I got a basket that I use. I can't wait to see how you use yours.
