Camping

Just getting back in from several days camping in Pisgah Forest. I have really missed having the computer and seeing all of the fun things y'all are doing. We were really back to nature... no phone, no computer, and no electricity. We did have battery powered lights in the RV which was good because it got dark really early deep in the forest.I was careful to take a light with me every time I stepped outside. Didn't want to step on any "Johnny no shoulders!" I love the quiet, peaceful life for a while but I would have never made it as a pioneer woman!

The campground is near Brevard, a quiet little town nestled in the forest. It has lots of quaint little antique shops and thrift stores... just my kind of shopping. I will be posting later about some of my finds but for now just wanted to say hello. I have a lot of blog reading to do to catch up!  It's so good to be back home.

  3. Thanks for the heads up on the glue clarification. You're a doll to think of all of us and lending a helping hand!!!

  4. We used to go all over the place with our travel trailer. I miss that. What's a johnny no shoulders? Sounds a little creepy. Glad you had a nice vacation.

  5. Annette,
Thanks for visiting with me. I'm also an addict...treasure hunting addict. I was a bit dissapointed after looking at the ads in today's paper. I feel like I'm going through withdrawals; maybe tomorrow.
Your vacation sounds wonderful, especially the shops. Hope you found some great stuff.
