Spiritual Sunday

I am so excited that spring is here. It is always  a reminder for me that the earth is renewed and that life goes on. I have spent some difficult times in the valley with an aging mom and various illnesses with family members. Although it has not been easy, I have been comforted by his promise

"I am with you always even unto the end of the world." Matthew 28:20

As I look back over the last few months I can see his hand in so many events. It is often so hard to let go and let God but when we do, he is always faithful to take care of us.
Thanks so much for your prayers and emails. I have not had much time for blogging or comments but I have come here often for strength and support.Your posts have been uplifting and always just what I needed to read at that time.
Isn't God good?

  1. It seems life has been more of a valley than not for you but I'm glad you choose to lean on the Lord during this season of life. Thank you sharing at What Joy Is Mine.

  6. I, too, can see God's hand through the hard times. You're right, when we let go...God is able to work. Beautiful photograph.

  7. I love spring too although I guess it isn't as "pronounced" here in the desert as it is many places. Seems like we didn't even have a winter this year. I do like that the days are longer. Love to wake up to that sunshine. Thank you for sharing this encouraging post. It's so comforting to remember that God is with us in every season - every season of the year and every season of our lives.
    Blessings,
    Charlotte
